True. But don't all the gundams have virtually the same specifications?
The point is, it has been proven that the gundams are altered to fit their pilots - not the other way around. So no, I don't think the mad five would ever have needed to keep them boys tiny.

Keeping them tiny would serve no purpose what so ever. If the boys grow, they grow. I'm sure the Mad Five took that into account. After all, they're teens.

You can adjust the seat in your average isuzu to accomidate small medium and large people I'd think you could probabally do the same in a gundam. If there was any genetic engineering going on I'd say it was to increase strength and stamina so they would take to the stresses of sudden accelleration and changes in direction. Remember TG1 was a seriously rough ride for Zechs heart attacks are no joke. And if you ask me, the reason why the mad five chose kids was yes, because they are more resilliant than adults they heal faster. ALSO, orphans are expendable no one will miss them, kids think they are immortal supposedly the part of the brain that processes there are consequences to your actions developes between the age of 18 and 21 (hence the reason why in the US 18 year olds can be drafted and sent to war but you have to be 21 to drink) Also young people they are more easily manipulated than adults.
