This is a srs bsns debate, guys.
I think Heero might have been traumatized in the past by a pineapple. Maybe he ate a bad one. Maybe Dr. J Pineapple-attacked him. Maybe he bit the skin and cut his tongue. Maybe that's why he's so silent.
I think somewhere in his past, he was seriously scarred by pineapples, and that's why he throws them in the ocean whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Fo realz! It is my personal opinion I do believe that he was indeed traumatized by this bizarre tropical fruit. :x
Thus he takes his rage out on it and chucks it in the ocean to cope with his pain, classic signs of pineapple abuse. ;3

I think his throwing the pineapple into the sea represents him shedding his prickly pineapply exterior and opening up to those around him (Though he seems to be obsessed with throwing food; remember towards the end when he uses a head of lettuce to knock out that OZ solider and steal his uniform?)

I think Heero's secretly anorexic. That's why he hates food and uses it as a weapon, the jerk. Doesn't he know there are starving children in China?

heero probabally only had vague memories what fresh food was like from his time with odin J probabally only fed him protien shakes and ration bars, so noone ever told him food wasn't ment as a weapon.
And if you really want a good furit to be convienantly weaponized try the durian fruit from indonesia, Malaysia and brunei. they are like spiked bowling balls and if they are just a tad overripe the smell itself could knock out your enemies -- definately not for anyone with western sensabilities. (though they make delicious fruit smoothies or ice pops)

Heero will be getting ahold of those any day now.

have you guys seen the pict of Gundam Wing Boys as fruit-of-the-loom chibbi's by Tsubasa No Kami at DA? Duo is the pineapple ... Zechs is the coconut. i think it is safe to say heero has grudge against coconuts... but has yet to come to terms with how he feels about pineapples, which is why is he is the perplexed strawberry with the flower picking off the pedals, one by one i can see him mumbling i like him, i'll kill him, i like him, i'll kill him.. as each pedal falls -grin-

Yes it is. OH yes, coconuts are on his 'throw in the ocean' list as well.
