Avatar:tLA is pretty awesome but I've got a special place in my heart for Oban Star Racers.
And I think I;m gonna get a bit old school here and say that I like BtVS and Disney's The Lion King.

Awwww, the Lion King! Yo, that movie has a shitload of backstory. Did you know Scar used to be named Taka?! Did you know Disney ripped off the entire story? www.kimbawlion.com/rant2.htm ^ I did a public speech on that once....I adored Lion King as a kid, but that made me go ;;.... Oh, and FYI Lunah....I've been going through and reading all the threads. Your silly posts make my life. In regards to the actual subject of this thread (hehe, whoops!), the TV shows I like are Charmed, Stargate SG-1, Star Trek, and Blood Ties. (I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally feel like I'm missing one here...) The movies I like are Star Wars, LotR, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lady in the Water, Last Samurai, Avatar (yes the blue people one), and Howl's Moving castle. As for other anime....<3 I'm an anime addict. I adore Shakugan no Shana, Toradora, FMA, Bleach, Naruto, Vampire Knight, Loveless, Spice and Wolf, Tsubasa:Reservoir Chronicles, Chobits, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, and-and- *shot for talking too much* :>

I too watch House though my favorite TV show is NCIS. :3 As for films, I am forever in love The Prestige. <3 Ah Harry Potter, I love that series, though I must say I was disappointed with how J.K Rowling ended it. *does not really pay much attention to the fandom...* I adore the prestige. It's one of those films that just never loses it's spark. <3

Whew...kinda had to catch up on this post. @lunah, and everyone else, Weiss Kruez is awesome. It's my 2nd favorite anime. It's about 4 assassins in a group called Weiss (White), who kill "bad guys" like rapists, etc. And then their rivals are Schwartz (Black) who are also assasins, but they're all psychic. Crawford is a pre-cog, Nagi is a telekenitic, and Schuldig is a telepath. Farfarello (named after one of the demons in Dante's Inferno) is a bezerker. One of the reasons I love the show is that the character development is wonderful even though the series is short. Go watch it right now. Then go read Mami-san's fanfiction, because it is the best freakin stuff on the net. www.angelfire.com/anime4/patternsofblood/mamifics.html

I'm another serious firefly fan..Star treck i liked DS9 and stargate was good too. As for gundam other than wing i've watched all of gundam seed (haven't found seed destiny though) i'm also a fan of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Howl's Moving castle was quite entertaining. and i throually enjoyed dreamworks how to train your dragon (had a better plot than aviatar). I haven't noticed any one mention Eskaflowne yet it was pretty well thought out (series NOT movie) and one of my all time favorites Saiunkoku Monogatari though the fan dubbs have all seemed to disapear before i could see the end of the 2nd season. And jane and the dragon is fun too (my friend's kids got me hooked on that one.)

@lunah: Yup! And Mufasa and Taka's dad looked like a mix of both. And in the books Simba and Nala had a son but in the movie it was a daughter. And- err....I was always very obsessed with that movie. I got a Nala plushie back when the movie first came out and I still sometimes sleep cuddled up with her. aynessa: Yeah, I know Lion King was a rip off. Though seriously, name one original thing Disney came up with? Other than the lie about suicidal lemmings. What makes Disney so admirable is the quality of the produce they put out. Yeah, they are money hungry but at least they put back into their products as much as they make, which you can't say many other entertainment corporations do. Also Blood Ties is awesome! I adore the soul mate episode in the second season.

TV/Film? Hmmm....Definitely Firefly. And I grew up on the old Star Wars, and Star Trek: TNG and Voyager.

I totally found like...the first ten episodes (I think) on Hulu. o3o And my Dad owns the entire first (and maybe second) season on DVD. Needless to say, when I move down with him, I'm having myself a Sliders marathon.
Sliders and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles: Making AUs canon!

In my lofty lofty (and most likely to never come to pass) dreams where I am a prolific author, all of my work is going to be one giant crossover!! Sort of like Charles de Lint!
